The Foundation will provide funds for eligible lung transplant recipients with pulmonary fibrosis. Our first recipient is Sallie
Shea. Due to her age and general health status, she is an excellent candidate for a successful lung transplant. See

The Willett Foundation is a non-profit organization. Its mission is to:

Raise pulmonary fibrosis awareness and improve knowledge of transplantation as an associated treatment regimen;

Generate funds through private and corporate donations in support of pulmonary fibrosis patients whose insurance does not cover the full cost of life-saving lung transplant procedures; and
-
Provide education and survivorship services to pulmonary fibrosis patients, their caregivers, and their families.
